When anyone reads the forums or browses the galleries or visits the Artist-Seller pages, they are shown AdSense ads like below screenshot example shows:

FORUMS BASED ADSENSE REVENUES
You can collect key post revenues paid by the AdSense program when any reader clicks at the ad block links:

• If you started the discussion you collect 95 % of revenues from the ad block below the opening post.
• If you are the last answering poster in a discussion thread you collect 90 % of revenues from the ad block below the last post.
• SoundChilds collects the 5% to 10% of key posting revenues. Further an extra ad block ad is presented under every fifth answering post (If this fifth post is also the last post, the ad block in favor of last answering poster is shown above the extra SoundChilds ad block).

You can collect 80 % of revenues from ads on your forum profile pages
You can optionally show Adsense ads at your member profile and collect 80 % of the revenues when a visitor clicks at ads on your profile page.

• You can show a leaderboard ad or a links block at the prime spot just below the breadcrumb navigation.
• You can show a skyscraper ad block at the left column just below My Lounge URL block.
• You can easily adjust the basic ad block colors (border, background, text and link) to fit your customised profile page colors.

GALLERY BASED REVENUES
You can collect gallery image based revenues by the same prinicple as above:

• If you uploaded the image in any of the galleries you collect 95 % of revenues from the ad block between the actual image and the filmstrip thumbnails.
• Note: The more accurate description you give to the image, the more accurate ads Google is able to display.

 

ARTIST-SELLER PAGES BASED REVENUES - NEW!
You can collect revenues when you display optional Google Ads at your Artist-Seller Pages:

• If you are the artist managing the content at any Artist-Seller pages you collect 100 % of revenues from the leaderboard ad blocks shown just below the breadcrumb navigation area at various places at the Artist-Seller pages you manage. The other banner size ad block incomes are collected by SoundChilds. This means you collect at least 65 % of all AdSense revenues from your Artist-Seller pages
• Note: The more accurate descriptions you give in any description fields, the more accurate ads Google is able to display.
• Note: As these pages are separate from the forums profile, you must add your AdSense ID, channel and ad block color codes separately for this section of the portal.
• Note: This is optional. The ads are showing as a default, but you can turn them completely off if you prefer.

 

AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS BY GOOGLE

• All your revenues are paid automatically at your Google AdSense account (the one you access at Google pages).

 

SETTING THIS UP IS REALLY EASY!

• STEP 1: You need a free Google AdSense account. Get one below:

  • Log-in or
  • Sign-Up (you can do it completely free)



• STEP 3: When you are logged-in at SoundChilds:
  • COLLECTING FORUMS AND GALLERIES BASED REVENUES
• go to MY LOUNGE GOOGLE ADSENSE Controls
• at forums related pages you can access by opening MY CONTROLS and browsing down to MY LOUNGE GOOGLE ADSENSE Controls:
  
  
  
  
• Add your AdSense Client ID (required) and Channel ID (optional)
  • Your AdSense Client ID must start 'pub-', like pub-xxx...
  • replace xxx... with your Client ID numbers (for example pub-1234...)
• Decide if you want to show the ad blocks at your profile page also
• Set colors for your profile ad blocks.
• Save changes (button at the bottom of the page).

• COLLECTING ARTIST-SELLER PAGES BASED REVENUES
• From MEMBER ACCOUNT MANAGER main page
• Go to BACKSTAGE User Interface by clicking at the link
  • If you are a new user you may need to aquire a BACKSTAGE Quota before a link appears - the basic quota is free
• Select MODIFY ARTIST:
  
  
  
  
• Scroll down close to bottom at the "Modify Artist" main screen
• If you want to block AdSense ads set "Show AdSense Ads" to "No".
• Add your AdSense Client ID (required) and Channel ID (optional)
  • Your AdSense Client ID must start 'pub-', like pub-xxx...
  • replace xxx... with your Client ID numbers (for example pub-1234...)
• Set colors for your profile ad blocks.
• Save changes (button at the bottom of the page).
• All done!
